President Thaçi and Minister Bajrami visited University of Mitrovica

The President of the Republic of Kosova, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami and Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Mahir Yagchilar visited the Public University “Isa Boletini”, in Mitrovica, in which case discussed with the management and academic staff on the achievements of this institution. Within this visit they saw closely the work being done on the construction of the University Campus.

President Thaçi, in this case awarded the diploma for the first student graduated in this University.

While during the visit in the space where the campus is being built, President Thaçi has highly praised the work being done at this University in the preparation of new staff, regarding the improvement of infrastructure and building education standards.

“I feel good that construction of new modern space in the Rectorate of the University has begun. From what we saw today, this university, besides the reforms in education, which are extremely important, specific directions are also offered by other universities in Kosova, making an attractive institution for study”, has stressed President Thaçi. 

Meanwhile, Minister Bajrami emphasized that the Public University “Isa Boletini” is an example of management and exceptional work that is being done in the creation of a modern institution. 



The Public University “Isa Boletini” offers special programs, while with construction of this modern facility will be created all the conditions that not only Mitrovica, but the whole region to have a modern university, which is fully adapted to the needs of the labour market. This good management of the University has justified the decision of the Government of Kosova to establish this university”, was expressed Minister Bajrami.
 
 President Thaçi and Minister Bajrami expressed confidence, that the new academic year will find this university with a modern environment, which provides suitable conditions for the work of students and academic staff.
