PRIME MINISTER KURTI AND MINISTER NAGAVCI HAVE GIVEN GRATITUDE AND REWARDS TO THE WINNERS OF LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Albin Kurti and the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci have given gratitude and rewards for the winners of competitions at the national level and the winners of credible competitions at the international level.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti said that the victories in these competitions are even more valuable as they are in the field of mathematics and physics, which are the basic scientific subjects for the development of students in schools.

Among other things, Prime Minister Kurti said that the results from the competitions with peers from different countries of the world are proof of the potential that our students have, a potential that must be constantly nurtured, in order to fully realize their talent, imagination and creativity.

While Minister Arbërie Nagavci emphasized that the gifts that are being distributed today to the students are deserved, therefore it is a special feeling to celebrate the success they have achieved in the competitions.

Minister Nagavci also said that the initiative of the Ministry of Education to promote the student successes in local and international competitions is the first of its kind and only one year later the doubling of the students number is seen.

Nagavci also said that today’s event is an example of the success that has come as a result of joint work, while the scored victory shows what can be achieved by a student who works for its successes, but above all there is the support of the family and institutions.

Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Nagavci also spoke about the support that the Government is offering to all pupils and students without distinction, offering financial support through various scholarship schemes and the care that is being given to vulnerable groups, such as students from Roma, Ashkali, Egyptian communities and pupils and students with disabilities.
