Ministry of Education presents the Draft law on the Education Inspectorate in the Republic of Kosova

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami has taken part in presenting the Draft law on the Education Inspectorate in the Republic of Kosova, where has spoken for relevance of changing the existing law for Inspectorate, as an important institution of implementation of educational policies for providing of effective mechanisms for raising the education quality.

Minister Bajrami, on this occasion has stressed the relevance of creation of a professional, credible and competent inspectorate, to enable achievement of a functional and qualitative educational system.  

“A modern credible inspectorate is a supportive inspectorate that helps school and university institutions to build pedagogical and professional standards, to build an evaluation system of performance and to act always in the function of building the quality”, was expressed Minister Bajrami. 

Minister Bajrami made it known that beside the adoption of the Law for Inspectorate must be also compiled the secondary legislation, thus ensuring profiling of inspectors and complete reorganization of this institution.

Among others, Minister Bajrami has spoken also for dividing the inspectorate function in two segments, in administrative and pedagogical, division which enables professionalism of inspectors and their specific competences. 

“This law enables creation of a credible inspectorate to raise and build higher pedagogical and professional standards, to build a performance system and to increase quality”, said minister Bajrami, while adding that changing the Law on Inspectorate also enables preparation of inspectors, who will strongly protect the law and educational standards.
