In honor of marking the 3rd of December – the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, has decided that, tomorrow, (Friday), December 2, 2022, in the first hour of the lesson, all educators/teachers/educators/professors, of all upbringing-educational institutions, elaborate on the topic: Disability.
MESTI has notified the Municipal Education Directorates and educational institutions in time for this lesson, which aims to raise awareness among students in Kosova’s schools about the disabilities and on awareness of their rights.
MESTI also informs that educators/teachers can use the guide prepared by the working group of the Ministry of Education, which is published on the official website of MESTI.
Otherwise, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has declared 2022 the Year of the Disabled Persons.
