Around 32 thousand graduates have undergone the State Matura exam (first part)

Ministry of Education, Science and Technology today in all municipalities of the Republic of Kosova has organized the State Matura exam 2016 (first part), in which this year have undergone around 30 thousand graduates.

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami visited graduates that are subjected to Matura exam at the testing centre in the gymnasium “Xhevdet Doda” in Prishtina, on which occasion estimated that the process of preparation of the test has gone extremely well and congratulated the graduates to show good results during the test. 

Minister Bajrami stressed that all necessary actions have been undertaken that this national assessment test to come up with real results. 

“Ministry of Education and MEDs are mobilized with all capacities so that today to manage this process with success, in order to have a credible and professional Matura exam, to show also the maturity of the educational system. I wish success to all graduates. This will be a real overview and assessment of the results, because as a society we are determined to build a quality education system”, has stressed Minister Bajrami. 

Minister Bajrami also reminded that this year the Matura test for the first time is being organized with the new Law of Matura, which allows all students to obtain a diploma, regardless of the test results shown. 



Among other things, Minister Bajrami also stressed the determination of the Ministry of Education to identify and address the responsibility to all provocations and possible interferences in the process. 

To see closely how is going the process of keeping the Matura exam, Minister Bajrami visited also the graduates, who were examined in testing centres in Lipljan, Shtime and Ferizaj. 

Around 30 thousand graduates have undergone the Matura exam in 2016, in 252 testing centres, and for administration are engaged around 3 thousand officials.
