MEST and Council for Higher Education signed the Cooperation Protocol

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami and chairman of the Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Yekta Saraç have signed Implementing Protocol of the Cooperation Memorandum, which aims to provide university study scholarships for students of the Turkish community of Republic of Kosova, who have completed their 12 years in lower secondary education in educational institutions in Turkish language in Kosova by the Turkish government side

Minister Bajrami has assessed as important signing of this Cooperation Protocol, as an act of formalizing readiness of the Government of Turkey to help further the development of Higher Education in Kosova.  

“Have signed a very important agreement by which is confirmed the readiness of the Government of Turkey to help higher education, particularly a greater inclusion of the Turkish community students. Have signed a project for the first time that the Turkish Government is piloting and we are very glad that this is happening in Kosova”, has stressed Minister Bajrami, while spoke about the benefits of a large number of students of the Turkish community for studying in the best universities of Turkey.

Minister Bajrami also said that they will work in other sectors with Ministry of Education of Turkey, so that best experiences are brought to reformation of the education system in Turkey.

While, chairman of the Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Yekta Saraç said that this Implementation Protocol of the Cooperation Memorandum is an agreement that specifies even more cooperation in the field of higher education between our two countries. 



“With the agreement signed today has been finalized the agreement which we have signed in advance, by specifying more the points on which we agreed earlier. The materialization of the agreement in question is evidence of the very good relations between our two countries”, was expressed chairman Saraçi.
