On the eve of the New Year, the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, visited SOS Children’s Villages, where she shared moments with the children of the center in Pristina and gave them books.
On this occasion, the minister also held a meeting with the national director of SOS Children’s Villages Kosovo, Nezahat Salihu, with whom she talked about the work being done in this center and the needs they have, especially regarding children who are enrolled in education.
Minister Nagavci expressed the readiness of MESTI to support SOS Villages to overcome the difficulties they face during their work, while she thanked the staff for their commitment in ensuring the well-being of children who are growing, educated and preparing for be able to continue life outside SOS Villages.
Meanwhile, director Salihu thanked the minister for the visit and emphasized the need for institutional support for this center, where 36 children live without parental care and 13 who are semi-independent.
