The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, together with other members of the Cabinet, welcomed the Swedish ambassador to Kosova, Jonas Westerlund, and the representatives of the international company Tetra Pak.
On this occasion, they discussed the importance of providing healthy food to students in schools.
Minister Nagavci informed them about the Guide for Nutrition Planning in Preschool Institutions in Kosova drafted in 2022, which aims to obtain sufficient energy and nutrients for children.
The minister said that we are working hard with line institutions in drafting documents and promoting healthy nutrition in schools.
The Ambassador of Sweden in Kosova, Jonas Westerlund, spoke about the importance of healthy food in educational institutions, adding that the municipality of Prishtina is a good model in terms of providing food for students.
Even the Director of the Tetra Pak company, Tamara Bullock, said that it is very important to provide healthy food in educational institutions.
