Minister Nagavci and Minister Murati have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for Information Technology courses

Following the public policies aimed at reducing the gap between the demands of the labor market and education, the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci and the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati have signed today the Memorandum of Cooperation for the implementation of measure 1.5 – Training and Employment in IT of the Economic Recovery Package.

Under this Memorandum of Cooperation, secondary school graduates will be awarded 2,000 vouchers worth up to 600 Euros to attend Information Technology courses. The main criterion for benefiting from this measure will be the high success of the student shown throughout the studies.

This initiative comes as a result of the market demand for professionals in the field of Information Technology, which is growing in parallel with the rapid and continuous technological development. Therefore, the joint commitment of the two Ministries towards supporting the training of young people remains essential for the sustainable economic development of the country.

MFLT and MEST, in line with the Governance program, remain committed to increasing and promoting opportunities for vocational training and employment among young people.
