Minister Bytyqi participated at the opening of the campaign against trafficking with human beings

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi participated at the opening of the Anti-trafficking month campaign (part of the campaign foreseen for education), within which MEST has organized many activities in schools for the prevention of trafficking through education.

In front of many students and teachers of the “Ismail Qemali” school in Pristina, Minister Bytyqi assessed this campaign as very important, in which case said that such a campaign should be everyday in our attention.

“Starting from MEST, you teachers and other institutions, we must contribute to minimizing this negative phenomenon so that there are no innocent victims”, said Minister Bytyqi and stressed that MEST, through various curriculum areas, of curriculas, will provide a better education for our students in order to prevent trafficking and victims be zero.

Addressing the teachers, Minister Bytyqi said it is an obligation to work together and more, to educate our children in a spirit and high quality. “I consider that the violence of this wild form will be much smaller the more we work and educate them”.

“Today we are saying ‘Stop trafficking in human beings’. Don’t be silent. We can stop it and we will do this if we are all together and determined to stop it”, said Minister Bytyqi.

The Anti-Trafficking Month is annually marked every year in Kosova, and this year begins on the International Day against Trafficking in Human Beings, ie on 18 October and lasts until 18 November 2017.
