Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi, continued today the visit to Iowa, USA, where he also visited three education institutions: Johnston High School, Norwalk High School and the University of Northern Iowa.
During his visit to Johnston High School, Minister Bytyqi talked with school leaders on the twinning opportunities of this school with the schools of the city of Peja in order to open the possibility of exchanging staff and pupils. This school already has twinning arrangements with the city of Peja. This school last year sent four children to the program through the “Toka” organization and plans to send another four children this year.
Meanwhile, at Norwalk High School, which is twinned with the town of Vushtrri, Minister Bytyqi has talked with Duanee Magee’s leader on the possibilities of cooperation and twinning of this school with the schools of Vushtrri.
During the visit of Minister Bytyqi at the University of North Iowa, he talked about the possibilities of cooperation with Kosova universities, while thanking for the very positive report he has made for Kosova this University, whose team has stayed in Kosova headed by prof. Greg Hamot.
Minister Bytyqi with these activities has ended his visit to Iowa, USA where he held important meetings with senior state leadership and university leadership.
