Kosova Accreditation Agency (KAA) is accepted in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education – EQAR.
This decision is taken in the meeting of the Registry Board, held on 4-5 June 2015 in Dublin of Ireland.
The acceptance of Kosova in EQAR is a very important development for internationalization of higher education in Kosova and contributes to the improvement and advancement of quality in higher education, and a new opportunity for interconnection of institutions and our students in the European System of Higher Education.
The KAA membership in EQAR, after previous membership in ENQA, proves the professional work of KAA in standard implementation and best European practices in quality assurance of higher education.
Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will continue the support for KAA, as key institution that guarantees the educational work quality and scientific research in higher education institution of Kosova.
Kosova Accreditation Agency is a public agency for quality assessment in public and private institutions of higher education through the accreditation process, supporting the development of quality in these institutions.
