The XVI National Seminar with Teachers of the Albanian Language and Albanian Culture in the Diaspora, organized by the Ministries of Education of Kosova and Albania, which this year is being held in Vlora, has gathered 150 teachers from different countries where they live and work.
In this year’s seminar, Albanian teachers from the diaspora will have the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss the topic “Theory and practice of teaching Albanian language and Albanian culture in the diaspora and exile”.
The two Ministers of Education, Arbërie Nagavci and Evis Kushi, also participated in the opening of the Seminar, who pledged that the joint work between the two countries will continue to support supplementary education in the diaspora with adequate policies.
On this occasion, Minister Nagavci, in her speech, thanked Albanian teachers in the diaspora for their commitment and dedication to overcoming any difficulties so that Albanian children wherever they live can learn the Albanian language and Albanian culture.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Kosovo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sports of Albania, are continuously committed to the development and advancement of Albanian learning in the diaspora. Joint curricula have already been drafted, while new texts for learning Albanian in the diaspora are being also drafted.
