The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Taulant Kelmendi and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrullah Çeku, held an informative meeting with representatives of municipalities, Municipal Directorates of Education and Culture, departments of relevant ministries, program coordinators, organizations, school directors and teachers, where they spoke about the progress of the “Art in Schools” program in the preliminary stages and its expansion in the third stage of implementation.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister Kelmendi said that the “Art in Schools” program was implemented eight months ago, with the aim of extending it to all municipalities, as a special program dedicated to pre-university level students and teachers, forging a broad partnership with municipalities, schools, central and local institutions of education, culture and civil society.
Kelmendi said that the Ministry of Education is making efforts to strengthen art in Kosova’s schools and is always ready to cooperate and coordinate efforts with all partners working in this field.
Among other things, Kelmendi emphasized that the “Art in School” program will put the student at the center as a creator and as an active participant in cultural activities, while he congratulated the DKAs and the schools for the contribution and commitment to the implementation of this program.
