The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, for the years 2024-2026.
The purpose of this Memorandum is to facilitate and expand the cooperation between the two countries, thereby contributing to a mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of higher education.
225 Kosovar students will have the opportunity to study in prestigious Hungarian universities starting from the academic year 2024/2025.
Minister Nagavci has thanked the Government of Hungary for the financial support of students from Kosova over the years, emphasizing the support which is expected to be provided through this Memorandum, over the course of two years.
Minister Nagavci said that the preparation of staff in certain areas of interest to society is very important for the overall development of the country.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Hungary, Bela Boszik, thanked the minister for her willingness to deepen cooperation and pledged for wider cooperation in the field of education.
Within this program, Hungary will offer 75 Bachelor, Master, and PhD scholarships every year for Kosovar students who want to study in Hungarian universities in the Agriculture, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Art and Design, etc.
