The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation in cooperation with the Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research (Centre SIT) have designed a package of modules where basic information is provided on topics related to the Child Protection Law and the role of the school on their treatment.
The Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, said on this occasion that MESTI’s key principle is the safety and protection of children from any negative phenomenon and the provision of a safe environment for them.
Nagavci said that, by preventing dangers toward children, we can ensure their full development in physical, intellectual, social and emotional terms, while adding that the package of modules that is being released today is in full compliance with educational curricula and legislation in force.
Among other things, Minister Nagavci thanked all local and international partners and associates, who have contributed to the finalization of this package, as well as the members of the working group for the successful design of these modules.
The Director of the Councelling Center, Social Services and Research (Centre SIT), Kadri Gashi, spoke about the importance of these modules, which aim to protect children from online dangers, protection from dropping out of school, discrimination, language of hatred, etc.
Otherwise, the modules offered within this package are in accordance with the educational curricula and legislation in force. The package contains 12 thematic modules, preceded by a chapter on the connection with our educational curricula and concluded with the possibility of addressing them through training, including the school-based one.
