In order to support and develop educational capacities in improving the quality of education for children with hearing impairments in Kosova, a Cooperation Agreement was signed today between the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and the Kosova Association of the Deaf of Kosova.
Also, this agreement aims to implement the recommendations issued by the Guidelines for inclusive education, bilingualism and sign language for children with hearing impairments.
On this occasion, Minister Arbërie Nagavci mentioned the actions that have been taken to ensure conditions and opportunities for every child with special needs to have access to education, respectively to ensure inclusiveness and quality in education for all without distinction.
Minister Nagavci emphasized the commitment of MESTI and the Government of Kosova to overcome challenges and difficulties in cooperation with the Association and the community, so that deaf children have the opportunity to be educated.
The President of the Kosova Association of the Deaf, Faton Parduzi, thanked Minister Nagavci and MESTI for the commitment they are showing to ease the lives of deaf people, especially for their access to education.
