On Monday, 184 candidates started training to qualify for “Assistants for children/pupils with special educational needs”.
Candidates who successfully complete this qualification will be awarded a diploma to BTEC standards.
On September 5, 2022, the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education has opened a competition for the admission of assistants for children/pupils with special educational needs. In this competition, a total of 718 candidates applied, while 184 were accepted.
On this occasion, 7 groups were formed to hold lectures, -3 in Prishtina (at the Resource Center-Pëparimi, KK-Shtjefën Gjeçovi and 1 group at the MED facility, Prishtina), 2 groups in Prizren (SLPSch “Lidhja e Prizren” and SLPSch “Emin Duraku”) 1 group in Mitrovica and 1 group in Ferizaj at the “Mother Teresa” resource center, MA-Ferizaj.
The adviser for vocational education in MESTI, Majlinda Rizvanolli-Bajraktari, together with the Director of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, Fikrije Zymberi, visited the candidates at the “Shtjefën Gjeçovi” school in Prishtina.
Rizvanolli-Bajraktari said that for the Government this category of students is a priority, therefore it is planned to hire assistants who will deal with these children. She said that we are very satisfied that the process of selecting candidates in cooperation with the Agency was carried out properly.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, Fikrije Zymberi, wished the candidates success, while saying that they will have the full support of the Agency.
