On this occasion, Deputy Minister Maloku Bërdyna said that “Mentoring Our Future” is an opportunity for the future of our young people, because it is a meeting point where students grow and develop benefiting from the knowledge and experiences of well-known names in our academic and professional space.
Maloku Bërdyna emphasized that the fact that to date “Mentoring Our Future” has brought together 130 students and mentors, in direct and monthly communication, shows the potential of the program, which has resulted in networking with universities and international organizations, scholarships within and abroad, research and employment of mentored students.
Among other things, the Deputy Minister said that MESTI is paying special attention to the representation and development of girls / women and vulnerable groups who have less opportunities. Therefore, she stressed that there is an additional opportunity that the program can capitalize on, namely that of mentoring girls / women in the fields of natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (or STEM) and communicating with successful role models in these industries.
