The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and DVV International in Kosovo (Institut für Internationale Zusammenarbeit des Deutschen Volkshochschul-Verbandes) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the further development of Education and Training of Adults (ETA) and lifelong learning component in the Republic of Kosova.
Minister Nagavci thanked the representative of DVV International in Kosovo for the readiness expressed to support quality assurance in the sector of Education and Training for Adults.
Nagavci also expressed her readiness to implement the points of this Agreement and to strengthen the partnership with DVV International Kosova. She said she expects concrete results beyond the signing of the Agreement.
Ramadan Alija, Executive Director of DVV International in Kosova stressed the importance of developing this segment of Vocational Education and Training, while appreciating the willingness of MESTI to cooperate.
Otherwise, the Agreement represents the mutual commitment to cooperate and build a partnership between MEST and DVV International for the implementation of the Project “Professionalization of the Sector for Education and Training of Adults (ETA) in Kosova” by creating new educational policies for ETA, strengthening partner networks, quality assurance in ETA and opening of at least two new centers for ETA based on the German public school (VHS) model, by adapting them to the Kosova context.
