Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi hosted today the Ambassador of Austria in Kosova, Gernot Pfandler, with whom discussed on developments in education, plans to improve the situation at all levels, as well as the need to support partners in achieving quality assurance goals.
Minister Bytyqi thanked the Austrian state for the help given to Kosova by helping education, at a time when our country especially the education field was going through difficult times.
“I highly appreciate Austria’s commitment to stabilize the state of education and we are open to further cooperation”, said Minister Bytyqi, after pointing out that Austria has been one of the most important education partners, helping raising and progressing in this sector, especially in the field of higher education, through major projects.
While talking about the goals of the Ministry for quality improvement in education, Minister Bytyqi called for further support of the Austrian state.
Austrian Ambassador to Kosova Gernot Pfandler congratulated the minister for the new assignment, while stressing that the education sector is essential for Kosovo and in this regard, MEST has the responsibility to provide quality education.
In this regard, Ambassador Pfandler mentioned Austria’s focus on supporting higher education and emphasized that his country will continue to further support education in Kosova and added that education is the pillar of cooperation between our two countries.
