Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami accompanied from the chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Education, Mr. Nait Hasani and director for education in Municipality of Prishtina, Mrs. Arberie Nagavci, visited the Model School in Prishtina, to look closely the Project piloting “School me”.
Minister Bajrami on this occasion has praised that this Project, which is beginning for the first time in Kosova, has for purpose standardization of teaching at the country level.
Minister Bajrami emphasized that provision of a digital platform, which includes all teaching units according to the Kosovo Curriculum is a very good opportunity for teachers to develop a qualitative and proactive hour.
“We saw that the hour was very attractive to students. Students taught things in a logical manner and were able to express their opinion, which is very important. I hope that this project be accepted by all teachers because I am sure that will result in a quality increase and will enable that beside unique assessment”, stressed Minister Bajrami.
Minister Bajrami, also made it known that digital platform of teaching is being piloted in several schools of the Republic of Kosova and that after evaluation, will be decided to extend in the national level, in order to standardize teaching, with dedicated teachers and with motivated students.
The project “School Me” is funded by the Kosova Foundation for Open Society and has for purpose to support education of Albanian-speaking students of 9th grade schools in Albania, Kosova, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albanian children in other states.
