The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, has paid a two-day official visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of the “Expo Dubai 2020” activities dedicated to higher education.
During this visit, Minister Nagavci had separate meetings with the Minister of Education, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, as well as the Minister of State for Advanced Technology, Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri.
In these meetings were discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education, especially higher education, but also in other areas covered by these ministries, such as science, technology and innovation.
Minister Nagavci spoke about the situation in Kosova education, while mentioning the latest achievements in creating new opportunities for researchers and innovators to have access to important programs such as “Horizon Europe”.

Nagavci also met with representatives of countries such as Albania, Switzerland, Croatia, Montenegro, United Arab Emirates and other states that are part of this fair.
During this visit, Minister Nagavci also visited the world fair “Expo Dubai 2020”, which is held in the period from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, where Kosovo is participating for the first time and among the topics of the presentation is education and innovation. This exhibition is attended by about 190 countries from around the world with more than 25 million visitors.
