The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) announces that parents from the Presevo Valley, North Macedonia, Albania, as well as from other countries inhabited by Albanians, who have children registered in schools in the Republic of Kosovo, are entitled to apply for subsidies for textbooks and school materials.
For citizens resident in the Republic of Kosovo from these regions, who due to lack of documentation cannot complete the application through the e-Kosova platform, we clarify that the e-Kosova platform is linked to the Register of Persons with Residence Permits.
To successfully complete the application, it is necessary to meet two conditions:
1. The residence permit number of the applicant parent must be linked to the child’s personal number, registered in the Civil Registry. In case of discrepancy, the parent must appear at the civil registry office to link the parent’s personal number with that of the child.
2. The bank account must be in the name of the applicant parent and reported to the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK) with the personal residence permit number.
Once these two conditions have been met, the application on the e-Kosova platform can be successfully completed..
