The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, met the management of the Kosova Statistics Agency (KSA), with whom she discussed the population census process and the collection of data in the field, which is expected to takes place from September 1 to October 16 of the following year.
Minister Nagavci, on this occasion, emphasized the importance of statistics and said that the data collected from this process are important for planning and decision-making in relation to educational policies.
Special emphasis in this meeting was given to the data that will be used for the field of education, starting from the reorganization of the school network, increasing the number of children in early education through the construction of nurseries in specific settlements, based on need and providing of equal opportunities for access to education and participation in regular schools for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The purpose of this meeting was to present the registration process and the content of the questionnaires that will be applied in the census of the population of Kosova.
