Minister Bajrami took part in the inaugurating workshop for the Torino process (PRT) 2016

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami took part in the inaugurating workshop for beginning of Torino process (PRT) 2016, process which has for review of educational policies of vocational education in Kosova.

Minister Bajrami, on this occasion said that Torino process has for purpose monitoring and implementation of reaching the necessary standards for vocational education and adults’ education.

Minister Bajrami said that Government of Kosova is engaged in compilation of a real evaluation report, through standardization of vocational education policies and students’ preparation with competencies and skills, so that they to be integrated equally in the international labour market.

“This is a very important process from which will benefit three things: building of state policies in report with vocational education and adults education, making more competent and more competitive these policies in the region and beyond, building of stable policies, building of VET sustainable standards, starting from curricula, National Qualification Framework, up to the quality monitoring and employment of youth in Kosova”, stressed Minister Bajrami. 

Representative of EU office in Kosova, Mr. Sergio Tragoudas, asked from all relevant stakeholders to have common access regarding vocational education system in Kosova.

Torino process is an important process in the field of vocational education and training, in which Kosova is participant for three years. This process does monitoring, evaluation and implementation of VET policies.

This is a process based in indicators, where each represented party has its role and simultaneously seeks compilation of the evaluation report, which will be done by all parties in the process and ETF experts.
