The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) announces that it has approved the Administrative Instruction for the 2025/2026 School Year Calendar.
This Instruction determines the dates of the beginning and end of the school year in all public and private institutions of pre-university education, including: preschool institutions and pre-primary classes, primary and lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools and resource centers for learning and counseling.
The new school year calendar also defines fall, winter and spring vacations, as well as official holidays, to ensure clear and structured planning for students and teachers.
MESTI expresses its gratitude to the members of the working group, composed of teachers, representatives of Municipal Education Directorates, schools and the Ministry itself, for their work and commitment in drafting this comprehensive document. In cooperation with the Municipal Education Directorates and school principals, MESTI is making the necessary preparations to ensure a good start and a successful school year, a lot of opportunities for learning and development.
MESTI wishes all students, teachers and parents a school year filled with achievements and new experiences.
