The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, together with the American Ambassador, Jeffrey Hovenier, participated in the renewal ceremony of HSSh “Ahmet Gashi”, in Prishtina. Also present at this ceremony were the deputy minister, Arsim Ademi, the head of the Cabinet, Bora Shpuza, lieutenant colonel David Veney and the Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Përparim Rama.
The renovation of HSSch “Ahmet Gashi” in Prishtina has been achieved through a close cooperation between the American Embassy, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and the Municipality of Prishtina. This project is part of the joint efforts to improve the educational infrastructure and create a better environment for students and teachers.
Minister Nagavci has expressed her gratitude to the American Embassy for the continuous support in improving the educational infrastructure in Kosova. She emphasized that this renovation is an important step towards creating better conditions and that this is just one of many such renovation projects that have been inaugurated during the last three years.
Nagavci also pointed out that the Government of Kosova has put a special focus on the school infrastructure, as an important part of the work towards improving the quality of education, by building new schools and nurseries, restructuring old school facilities and adapting them in modern and efficient facilities for the educational development of children.
The American Ambassador to Kosova, Jeffrey Hovenier, emphasized the importance of investments in education and pointed out that this project is an example of the commitment of the United States of America to support the development of education and to strengthen relations between the two countries, for building a brighter future for the youth of Kosova.
Meanwhile, the mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, expressed his gratitude for the support of the American Embassy, and noted that this cooperation is an excellent example of partnership between local and international institutions to advance the education system in the capital city.
