The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, together with the deputy minister Taulant Kelmendi, the chairperson of the Commission for Education, Science, Technology, Innovation, Culture, Youth and Sport, Ardian Gola and other colleagues, hosted the Commission for Education in a meeting and the means of public information of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania.
On this occasion, Minister Nagavci informed the delegation from Albania about the work and plans of MESTI, while she expressed her readiness to continue cooperation and to intensify joint work in the field of education.
The Chairperson of the Committee for Education and Public Information from the Parliament of Albania, Flutura Açka, proposed to create a joint nationwide Platform for concrete projects between the two countries, where there was agreement from the hosts of the meeting.
The member of the Commission for Education and Public Information of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Evis Kushi said that during these three years they have had an excellent cooperation with the Minister Nagavci and the staff of MESTI where several agreements have been signed and their implementation has started as in Albania, as well as in Kosova.
Among other things, this meeting also discussed the increase of interstate cooperation, with special emphasis on early childhood education.
Given that 2024 has been declared the “Year of the Albanian Language”, both delegations agreed to have as many joint activities between our two countries as possible.
