The students of the “Faik Konica” school in Prishtina had the opportunity today to present the work they did during the campaign for saving electricity to the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, as well as the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli.
During the visit to this school, the ministers congratulated the students for this campaign and talked with them about how electricity can be saved and about their influence in this regard. Minister Nagavci emphasized that the students of this school are very active in campaigns important to community, while she emphasized that their creativity in the future can bring even greater results in innovation.
However, the minister said that currently it is very important that even students influence the saving of electricity, raising awareness among their families and peers.
After mentioning the multiple consequences of the unconscious consumption of electricity in the state budget, in the family budget, but also in environmental pollution during energy production, Minister Nagavci called for electricity to be used efficiently in schools, in the family and everywhere else.
Meanwhile, Minister Rizvanolli spoke about the measures taken by the Government of Kosova in this direction and about the importance of saving energy. She also emphasized the way in which electricity is being saved in the public institutions of Kosova, while said that the practice of this school for awareness and saving energy should be followed by other schools.
