Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Heset Sahiti and Rector of the University “Hasan Prishtina”, Marjan Dema met today with a group of UP professors who will be staying for a study visit to Indiana University, of the United States of America.
Deputy Minister Sahiti on this occasion congratulated the professors for a pleasant stay in America and asked them to bring their best experiences and to apply them for the needs of upbringing and education in Kosova. He said that this is a good opportunity that within mutual cooperation of the two countries, we as a state benefit from the best experiences of prestigious American universities.
Deputy Minister Sahiti also spoke about the importance of this study visit, not only for UP but also for other higher education institutions in Kosova.
The study visit aims at bringing good experiences in the field of upbringing and education in one of the best universities in the United States. This visit is a USAID project co-funded by the Ministry of Education.
The group of professors who will be part of this team are: Zeqir Veselaj, Naser Zabeli, Adhurim Rasimi, Ardita Demolli, Xhavit Beqiri and Teuta Danuza, while the areas to be studied are the area of environment, education, logopedics, arts etc.
