Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqyri Bytyqi hosted today a meeting of a World Bank delegation in Kosova headed by Joel Reyes, an expert on Education Development and Institutional Development. World Bank Education Team has stayed at the Ministry of Education within the project for Improving the Education System in Kosovo (ESIP), which is supported by the World Bank.
Minister Bytyqi and the expert Joel Reyes agreed that the World Bank’s commitments to Kosovo would be aligned with the policies of the Ministry of Education so that this would result in increased quality of teaching, career development for teachers and improving the data management system in education.
Minister Bytyqi thanked the World Bank for the continued support he has given to Kosova education and emphasized that the WB project largely involves government education policies in this mandate, and therefore remains committed to continuing to cooperate with this an important international institution.
