Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami took part in the public debate for the Law on Higher Education and for Regulated Occupations at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, with which the public debate is concluded for these two laws.
Minister Bajrami stressed that during these days there was an inclusive debate for both laws, so that we have good and sustainable laws.
Minister Bajrami said that with new law on Higher Education we aim to increase quality and to create academic order in higher education, so that we can be closer to integration in the Bologna Process.
The minister also said that with new law are foreseen high standards and in many dimensions regarding the issue that who can be called university, academic calls, effective academic and financial governance, composition and Senate’s role , selection and competencies of the Rector and the steering council etc.
Minister Bajrami spoke also for the Law on the Regulated Occupations for which said that will be an instrument for creating quality.
Public debates are organized with all relevant stakeholders, from which are taken observations, suggestions and comments, which will contribute to the compilation process of final drafts for both laws.
