Acting Deputy Minister of Education Arsim Ademi hosted a high-level OSCE delegation in a meeting

Acting Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arsim Ademi, together with advisor, Donika Kastrati, hosted today a high-level OSCE delegation, led by the High Commissioner on National Minorities, Christophe Kamp, accompanied by advisors, Elia Boggia and River Hustad. Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Cornelia Taylor, the Director of the Human Rights Department, Kavya Rajan, and the Political Affairs Officer, Drita Gjeli.

At this meeting, the main focus was addressing issues of education, language and the rights of communities in the education system..

Deputy Minister of Education, Arsim Ademi, thanked the delegation for the visit and expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Education for close cooperation in areas that are of particular importance for the inclusion of communities and their empowerment through education and upbringing.

Deputy Minister Ademi presented MESTI’s policies for ensuring equal and inclusive access to education, which is guaranteed through the implementation of the Law on Education in Municipalities and the implementation of the Education Strategy 2022–2026, which provides measures for ensuring equal access to learning materials for all communities.

The High Commissioner for National Minorities, Christophe Kamp, spoke about his mandate, which focuses on interethnic relations and promoting coexistence in society, through ensuring equal access to the education system.
