Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami, director of USAID for Kosova, Mr. James Hope and Rector of University “Hasan Prishtina” in Prishtina, Mr. Ramadan Zejnullahu, have taken part in the ceremony of the call for application for the last generation of students interested to apply in the Transformational Leadership Program – Scholarships and Partnerships (TLP-SP), for master studies in the American universities.
Minister Bajrami, on this occasion said that the Transformational Leadership Program is the largest program from which Kosova is benefiting with the help of USAID. “This program is very important for our youth, a very good opportunity to attend studies in the American higher education and afterwards to contribute to the development processes in Kosova. This program truly brings transformed leaders in Kosova, leaders of which will transform Kosova in the ongoing processes”
Minister Bajrami also said that beneficiaries of this study opportunity in the American universities, after completion of studies, will return in Kosova to contribute in quality increase of teaching in Kosova.
The USAID director for Kosova, Mr. James Hope, said that feels honoured to launch the call for master studies with the Transformational Leadership Program, where within this program, so far over 135 young persons are entitled to study.
In this program that is co-funded by MEST and USAID, full scholarships will be awarded to students who will pursue studies in the areas: Rule of Law, Public Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, Business Management, Finances, Economy, Information Systems, Education, gender and interdisciplinary studies.
