The Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, together with the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Mayor of Shtime Municipality, Qemajl Aliu and the nursery school principal, Yllka Fejzullahu, inaugurated the new nursery facility in the village of Godanc in the municipality of Shtime, which was realized in close cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Shtime.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the facility, Minister Nagavci emphasized that such investments are part of the vision of the Government and MESTI to increase access and quality of early education, as a strong basis for the development of children and their school future.
“I am happy that we are inaugurating this facility that will provide opportunities for more than 70 children and families who will begin their first steps on the long road to knowledge. In improving the educational infrastructure, the Government of Kosovo in this mandate of President Aliu has invested 8 million euros by building new nurseries, physical education halls, laboratory cabinets and creating better opportunities for the education and training of children”, said Nagavci
The inaugurated facility, with an area of 756 m² and an investment value of 414 thousand euros, includes five classrooms equipped with all the necessary tools for the educational process and for the well-being of children.
Minister Nagavci said that this is another important step towards expanding the network of nurseries in Kosovo, ensuring that preschool education is more accessible and of higher quality for all children, regardless of their place of residence.
