The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, and Deputy Minister Arsim Ademi, visited today the rectorate of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, where they were welcomed by the rector Arben Hajrullahu.
At the meeting the possibilities of advancing the branches of study were discussed, with the aim that the University of Prishtina to attract even more students in the coming years. Were also discussed the needs and plans for investments in infrastructure and the modernization of study programs, as well as the various challenges facing the public university.
The acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, emphasized that the government is always ready to provide full institutional support to address the needs and challenges of the University of Prishtina, considering the University of Pristina as the foundation of higher education and social development in the country.
Acting Minister Arbërie Nagavci emphasized the importance of continuously increasing the quality of teaching and scientific research, as she assured that MESTI will be a permanent partner of the university in improving conditions for students and academic staff.
The meeting was held two weeks before the start of the new academic year and was considered an important conversation towards preparations for this new academic year.
