The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, today inaugurated the kindergarten in Fushe Kosova, as well as laid the foundation stone of the Lower Primary School in this municipality.
The new kindergarten is an investment of MESTI worth 415,659.59 euros, with an area of 756.50 m², has a capacity for 60 children and has been completed within a period of 24 months. The kindergarten is equipped with sports equipment, laboratory equipment, maintenance equipment and kindergarten equipment worth 61,000 euros.
Following the visit, Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Nagavci laid the foundation stone of the Lower Secondary School in Fushë Kosovë, a major investment by MESTI of 3,883,383.83 euros, with an area of over 8000 m² and a construction period of 36 months.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the importance of these projects for the community, as part of the commitment to creating modern conditions for learning.
“The kindergarten and the new school in Fushe Kosova are investments that guarantee a better future for our children. With better conditions for learning and education, we are building the foundations of a fairer and more developed society,” said Prime Minister Kurti.
Meanwhile, the acting minister, Arbërie Nagavci, emphasized MESTI’s commitment to increasing the quality of education and care for children. She emphasized that these investments are an important step in fulfilling our promises for modern educational infrastructure..
“The children of Fushë Kosova will have decent conditions for learning and education, while we will continue with other similar investments throughout the country,” said Minister Nagavci.
In total, investments in education in Fushë Kosova during this government mandate reach a value of 5,682,129.80 euros, including kindergartens, primary schools and the equipment necessary for their functioning.
