The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, visited the “Ardhmëria” kindergarten in Prishtina today, where she was welcomed by the director of the institution, Lumnije Çitaku, and the educational and support staff.
During the meeting, the work carried out in this preschool institution, the daily activities with children and the commitment of the staff to create a safe, warm and stimulating environment for the early development of children were discussed.
Minister Nagavci praised the dedication of the staff and emphasized the importance that MESTI gives in supporting early childhood education institutions, as part of the strategy for wider inclusion and higher quality in this phase of education.
As part of this support, the “Ardhmëria” nursery is the beneficiary of an investment in educational toys worth over 12 thousand euros, allocated by MESTI to improve working conditions and increase the quality of educational services.
In the Municipality of Prishtina alone, over the last five years, MESTI has implemented and is in the process of implementing 55 projects, with a total value of over 12.25 million euros, which include:
These investments include improving teaching and learning conditions, supporting children with disabilities and modernizing the educational infrastructure in public institutions in the capital.
