The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, hosted the newly appointed director of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADA), Bernd Brünner.
At the meeting, the close and successful cooperation between MESTI and ADA was discussed, with particular emphasis on projects that have yielded concrete results in the development of higher education in Kosova, such as Higher Education Intervention 2025, Sustainable Higher Education and Research in Kosova (HERAS+), as well as the ALLED project.
Minister Nagavci expressed her gratitude for the continued support from ADA, which has been an important partner in advancing the education system, especially in the field of higher education and scientific research.
During the meeting, the current situation in the education sector in Kosova, existing challenges and opportunities for further cooperation in the future, with the aim of improving the quality and access to education, were also discussed.
Minister Nagavci and Director Brünner reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the partnership between Kosova and Austria in the field of higher education and scientific research. They emphasized the importance of continuing joint projects that contribute to increasing the quality, innovation and sustainable development of education in Kosova.
