Minister Nagavci attended the award ceremony for the “Honorary Alumni of the University of Prishtina”

The acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, attended the solemn award ceremony for the “Honorary Alumni of the University of Prishtina” award, which was awarded to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. The award was presented by the Rector of the University of Prishtina, Arben Hajrullahu.

In his speech, Rector Hajrullahu emphasized the importance of this award as a symbol of the strong connection between the University of Prishtina and the country’s leading personalities. He praised the contribution of President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti, considering them excellent examples of UP graduates who have made a valuable contribution to the democratic, institutional and social development of Kosovo.

President Osmani assessed that this award is proof of the extraordinary contribution of our citizens who, with their work, dedication and achievements, are representing Kosovo with dignity in the country and in the world. She emphasized that the University of Prishtina has been and remains the main pillar of the formation of the academic and professional elite of the country, congratulating all the winners for their successes and for the inspiration they give to the younger generations.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that honoring graduates who have made a special contribution in various fields constitutes an appreciation of the knowledge, work and integrity that emanates from the University of Prishtina. He emphasized the Government’s commitment to continue supporting higher education and scientific research, so that the University of Prishtina can further strengthen its role as a center of knowledge, innovation and social progress.

This ceremony was attended by representatives of institutions, academic staff, students and alumni of the University of Prishtina, in a solemn atmosphere that appreciated the contribution of the successful graduates of this institution.
