The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) has signed contracts with organizations benefiting from financial support for 2025, within the framework of institutional support for Learning Centers and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in the field of education.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Acting Minister, Arbërie Nagavci, and the Secretary General of MASHTI, Fadile Dyla, who congratulated the beneficiaries for their cooperation and contribution in supporting inclusive education in our country.
This year, a total of 19 organizations have benefited from financial support from MESTI: 8 organizations that offer programs for students with exceptional intelligence, talents and gifts; 11 organizations that manage a total of 34 learning centers, involving 2,011 students from first to ninth grade.
Minister Nagavci emphasized that this support is a proof of MESTI’s commitment to strengthening the capabilities and resources of organizations that contribute to quality and inclusiveness in education.
“Since 2021, when the distribution of these subsidies began, we have seen a continuous increase in the number of beneficiaries. Some organizations are now beneficiaries for the fourth or fifth time, which speaks to mutual trust and the strengthening of their capacities. “We will continue to work together to ensure equal access to education for all children in the Republic of Kosovo, regardless of ethnicity, social status or region,” said Minister Nagavci.
Meanwhile, the General Secretary, Ms. Fadile Dyla, thanked the beneficiaries for their cooperation so far and wished them success in implementing the projects planned for 2025.
“This financial support scheme has already become a good practice of cooperation between MESTI and civil society. We will continue to support projects with a direct impact on the quality of education and the development of the potential of our children”, said Dyla.
MESTI will continue to strengthen partnerships with non-governmental organizations to contribute to the development of a fair, inclusive and quality education system for all students in the country.
