The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the graduation ceremony of 150 students at the Public University “Kadri Zeka” in Gjilan.
In his speech, the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, highlighted some of the main achievements of the Ministry of Education over the last four years, highlighting the importance of decisions that have directly impacted the academic lives of students.
He mentioned free studies at public universities in Kosovo, as well as the fact that in the last two years alone, MESTI has awarded over 1,200 scholarships to students at this university.
Kurti also announced that the budget for scientific research has been increased and the advancement of performance in higher education in many dimensions has been supported.
Minister Nagavci’s participation in this ceremony was proof of the institutions’ continued support for public education and for young people who are starting a new chapter in their professional lives.
The graduation ceremony marked a special moment for the students of “Kadri Zeka” University, concluding an important stage of their educational journey and bringing enthusiasm and hope to the future generations of Kosovo.
