The acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated today in the Workshop with the National Science Council, the Scientific Council of MESTI and the councils of scientific fields.
In her speech, Minister Nagavci emphasized that science is the foundation of modern development, recalling the reforms implemented in these five years: the return of the Accreditation Agency to ENQA, the approval of the National Science Program 2023–2028, the functionalization of KRIS, membership in Horizon Europe and the support of students through international scholarships.
“Science is the biggest investment a country can make for its future. MESTII will remain a steadfast partner of researchers, universities and research institutes”, said Minister Nagavci.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of MESTI, Fadile Dyla, emphasized the importance of such meetings as drivers of strategic processes, mentioning the National Science Program and the Education Strategy as key guiding documents.
In conclusion, Minister Nagavci emphasized that the recommendations arising from this workshop will be treated with full seriousness and responsibility, in order for the National Science Program and the new legislation to receive the implementation it deserves.
