The political advisor to the acting minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arrita Gola, participated today in the promotion of the book “Kosovo at War”, by Danish author and photojournalist Thomas Sjorup.
On behalf of MESTI, Gola emphasized the importance of this publication as a testimony and narrative that documents the suffering, resilience and hope of the people of Kosovo during the conflict period..
She highlighted the need for documented history to be used as a lesson for younger generations, conveying the message that peace, freedom and democracy are victories achieved with much effort and sacrifice.
Photojournalist and book author Thomas Sjorup said that the book is the result of years of work and reflection, and that it is not just a collection of photographs, but a visual testament to the courage and resilience of the people of Kosovo.
He assessed that the awarding of the Presidential Medal of Merit by the President of Kosovo is an honor that belongs to all the people of Kosovo.
