The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the opening of the 43rd edition of the International Seminar on Albanian Language, Literature and Culture.
In his speech, the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, emphasized the importance of the Albanian language as the foundation of national identity and as a living organism that preserves human memory, subjectivity and imagination. He expressed the Government’s willingness to support initiatives that promote and strengthen the Albanian language, such as language olympiads and seminars dedicated to the diaspora.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti thanked the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation for its contribution and continued support in organizing this Seminar, emphasizing that such events not only affirm the importance of our language and culture, but also contribute to the preservation and promotion of national identity in an international context.
The 43rd seminar will feature numerous scientific and cultural sessions, focusing on Albanian language, literature and heritage, and will serve as a platform for new academic projects and agreements. This year, over 150 local and international scholars are participating.
