The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the opening of the 18th edition of the Kosovo-Albania Diaspora Seminar, which this year is being held in the city of Shkodra with the participation of over 250 Albanian language teachers from around the world.
In her speech to the attendees, Minister Nagavci stated that this Seminar is a testament to the close cooperation between Kosovo and Albania and a symbol of the shared commitment to preserving and promoting the Albanian language, culture and identity in the diaspora.
The Minister expressed her thanks and gratitude to all those who have contributed over the years to the organization of this important Seminar and highly appreciated the dedication of teachers in exile to preserving the Albanian language and Albanian cultural heritage.
In her speech, Minister Nagavci mentioned the continued support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation for education in the diaspora. Some of the concrete measures are: Drafting textbooks for levels I, II and III for the diaspora, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Albania; Support for the organization of the Albanian Language, Literature and Culture Seminar at the University of Prishtina and others.
At the end, Minister Nagavci welcomed the hospitality of the city of Shkodra and described this cultural center as the “cultural heart of the Albanian nation”, wishing a fruitful seminar and new collaborations among the participants.
