The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, the Director of USAID in Kosova, Eileen Devitt and the Deputy head of UNICEF, Benjamin Fisher, have visited today the Resource Room at the “Rexhep Elmazi” school in Gjilan, where children’s work in assistive technology was demonstrated and an open discussion was held with students and teachers present, part of the project supported by USAID and UNICEF.
On this occasion, Minister Nagavci thanked USAID and UNICEF, the strategic partners of the Ministry of Education, who have supported the resource rooms in the municipality of Gjilan and other municipalities with modern equipment for the practical application of knowledge.
Minister Nagavci has said that inclusiveness and providing equal opportunities is not only the goal of the Ministry, but is also a daily task, which is continuously supported by partners and donors.
She emphasized that the support of the resource rooms with modern equipment is not only a relief for the work of the supporting teachers, but what is most important is the support of the children to achieve their competences in life, despite the difficulties they have.
The Mayor of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, the Director of USAID in Kosova, Eileen Devitt, and the Deputy head of UNICEF also spoke about the importance of this investment in technological equipment and their positive impact on the development of children’s skills, Benjamin Fisher.
