The senior political adviser in the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Muhedin Nushi, participated in the opening of the conference organized by Universum National College “Girls in ICT”, which aimed to address the importance of representation of women and girls in the field of technology.
On behalf of Minister Arbërie Nagavci, councelor Nushi spoke about the role and contribution of women and girls in technology, as an extraordinary aspect that we should all be aware of.
Nushi emphasized that their diverse experiences and perspectives bring a valuable addition to our technological frameworks and projects, as examples of inspiration for all, demonstrating their commitment to a field that has traditionally been dominated by men.
Among other things, Councilor Nushi said that the commitment of the Ministry of Education in further investments in technology for women and girls is primary, mentioning on this occasion the financial support that MESTI has offered in the last three years through the provision of scholarships.
Furthermore, Nushi also recalled the organization of the big conference for women and girls in STEM, called STEMinists, which is organized for the second time this year, where prominent Kosovar scientists and professionals from the country and the world with students and young scientists become together to present and share their achievements.
