The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the Parliamentary Commission for Education, which reviewed and approved in principle the Draft Law on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications in the Western Balkans and that for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications of Doctors, Dentists and Architects in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement.
These two draft laws, which are very important for students and professionals in the fields of medicine, dentistry and architecture, are expected to be sent for first reading to the Assembly of Kosova.
Minister Nagavci presented to the members of the Commission some of the reliefs brought by these two draft laws in the process of employment of graduate students in the countries of the Western Balkans and in the regulation of professions in certain fields, saying that in their drafting were included all relevant stakeholders such as: experts from MESTI, civil society, academic community, etc.
Nagavci emphasized that the drafting of the Draft on the Recognition of Qualifications was a request of the students from the Presheva Valley, as this has presented a problem in their employment, so she expressed her satisfaction that this Bill and the one on regulated professions will soon be approved in assembly.
